Cool, what do you think of Debian?
I have used Red Hat, Mandrake, and SuSE.
I''ve only had a small taste of Debian with DemoLinux.

Useless? Apparently we have diferent definitions of useless. Linux does what I want it to for me, and so does Windows. I don't see the need for me to get anything else.
On a side note, however, who decided to make it so friggin complicated to install video card drivers??? Talk about convoluted. This is one thing I like about Windows,(download, double click, reset, done) Nice and easy.

Ok, now that you wasted your time learning how to install a pretty useless OS, its time to move on to bigger and better things. Erase harddrive, install FreeBSD, NetBSD, or OpenBSD. If you are going to use a unix like system, might as well use a real unix.
i thought *BSD was just like linux, only less hardware is supported
Which sounds similiar to the ports and packages collection in FreeBSD. Really now, is Linux good for anything?
