weird ICQ problem

I upgraded my ICQ a few months ago, and I noticed it started losing my messages on regular basis. So when I send a message the other person doesn't get it. The weird problem here is that ICQ chooses what messages to lose based on the general meaning or topic of the message. For example, if someone asks me what's my major, and if ICQ ignores my answer, then no matter how many times I try to resend the message or even paraphrase it, it won't get thru. Does anyone have this problem? [edited by - berserk on December 11, 2002 3:56:02 PM]

Had similar problems a while back but nothing like that recently. Now I don't get some emails at my Hotmail account though people receive mine. Sometimes technology sucks, even if it is free.

I used to have that problem too. Since I had an old version of ICQ I upgraded and that fixed it.

I got that problem with Miranda ICQ. I think it has something to do with the fact that they keep changing their protocol, and nothing to do at all with the fact that they are hunting you and figuring out what you''ve been saying.
