Hi,
I'm having a problem with the DirectX8 that comes with the SDK,
When I try to open some kind of files (i.e. mp3) with DirectShow
it opens correctly, but when I press play it gives me the following
message:
I tried to reinstall windows and it works fine if I don't install
the DirectX SDK version... But if I install it the error keeps on.
Is this a DirectShow bug or is it a bug of the filters??
Note: Some files works ok (i.e. wav)
[Edit:] if I press Yes on the Dialog Box that appears it doesn't
go away, it appears again and again...
Some players like BSPla*er shows the same message, however Windows
Media Player 8 works fine.
I only have had this error since I installed WindowsXP, but I
think it's because of the Debug Version of DX8, I am not able to
install the Retail version with WinXP, I choose the Retail Version
of DirectX but installs the debug version, I have already changed
to the runtime libs on Control Panel but it keeps on...
