Hi, How do we know which vertice of a Vertex Buffer is from a x subset ? I''ve seen somewhere in the DX8 SDK Docs that each vertice has a DWORD Value that contains the subset number of wich it is associated, but how do we get that value ??? KaMiKaZe

The ID3DXMesh object contains an attribute buffer that has a 1:1 relationship with polygons. Check out ID3DXMesh::LockAttributeBuffer to see how to access the attributes - it''s just an array of DWORD values. From there, grab an attribute, look up the indices used (from the index buffer) and voila, your vertex indices and subset attribute value.
