Original Post
Okay this is going to be a bit off topic, because the project I''m working on isn''t a computer game (yet, but one day will be) but an abstract board game. I''m looking for people to test the rules to iron out any problems. This is the best place I could think of to post it so here goes.
I am looking for people who:
- Enjoy ''thinking'' games like chess, checkers, go, etc
- Have IRC and know how to use it.
- Are intelligent and speak the english very goodly.
- Live in Canada or the US, Canada preferred.
What you''ll need to do:
- Print off a set and have some games with your buddies.
- Report back on what you liked/disliked about the game
- Make suggestions on revisions to the rules.
- Agree not to send out digital copies to anyone, though you may print off a set to give to a friend.
What you get:
- PDF of the rules.
- PDF of the board and pieces for you to print off.
How to apply:
Drop me a line at Zarnn@hotmail.com. If you don''t trust me with your personal email address then go ahead and use a hotmail throw-away account, I did! After I''ve selected the testers I''ll contact them, send them the files they need and away we''ll go.
For the rest of you, keep your eye out for Zarnn to be publicly released in the near future, either in stores or for free over the internet, depending on how things go.
