What''s a good (NON-BORING) win32 programming book that you gusy can recommend. I''ve found a couple of OVERLY TECHNICAL... AND I MEAN OVERLY!! technical texts on win32 @ barns and noble and these guys talk as though they were being whipped while writing the book. I don''t want to read in pain... any suggestions? Anything around the comedic lines of Lamothe? I know he''s strickly games but that style would be nice. -Lewis [m80] Play QUADz MX @ www.m80produxions.com

How about "Windows 98 Programming from the Ground Up"
by Herbert Schildt ?

4½ stars out of 5 on Amazon.

The book appears easier to read becase the letters are larger than in the Petzold book.
