Yes, yes, y''all, I am gonna do a remake of our all time favorite MULE, to be released as open source under the GPL. It is going to use SDL for everything as it is the sanest way to do 2D graphics today (IMHO). The question is; would anyone be interested in a tutorial on this? I have never really seen any good tutorial on how to bring all elements together to create a game, much less in SDL! So please tell me if you would like it, because it would mean a whole lot of extra work form my side (especially since I have never written any tutorial before) //M0535

YES!!!! YES!!!! I am very interested in seeing a tutorial on how to put togheder a game in SDL. In fact I have a litle experience in using SDL but , it would very useful to read a good tutorial about this.
But:
- could it be a more "hands-on" tutorial ...something like Teej had stared a few years ago with DirectX.
- very important : will it be OOP ? I hope so
- will it make use of other already existing libs created on top of SDL ( like SDL_mixer , SDL_gui etc. )rather than just creating ones from scrach? Well I do not know how it would be best but hmmm jsut asking.

Ohh and one last thing: what is MULE???? Well I do not think I know the game ... or maybe I do but it is called difrent here

MULE is a classic strategy game which I believe was first released on Commadore 64, but the version me and my friends where playing back in the day was for NES.

If I can get some webspace, the first tutorial should be ready by january third.
