Hey... also... how come amazon.co.uk has different editions of LOTR? They have the cool ones!

CDNOW merged with them (or was bought by them), which has brought about a bad change. I used to like going to CDNOW''s website to listen to sample tracks, but now I have to use Amazon''s interface which is horrible compared to what CDNOW used to have. I used to get a neatly ordered list of albums by an artist, but now it doesn''t seem to have any order and it''s cluttered by too much other stuff. They also only have Real Audio samples instead of Windows Media and only about five samples instead of a sample from every song. I''ve switched to using Tower Records'' site.

I like amazon, although I rarely buy anything but books.

I don''t like amazon. I like to meet with the people I am buying things from. The Use and Out Of Print bookstore is my kind of place. I found lots of great books, including Firefly : a novel of the far off future, which has been out of print for some time now.

My one complaint with Amazon is their use of Real Media for track samples on CD''s. This is an unforgivably stupid decision on their part.
