I am writing a small(yet commercial game) and I want to know If I can use the MD3 and BSP(WordCraft or Q3Radiant)file formats.I don''t want any surprises!.SO..are those file formats realy free(for commercial use)or do I have some kind of a licence?

you should ask id software, but I think you're allowed to use them.

If a file format is not pattented, you are free to use it. But, of course, if you use Q3 maps, or models, they most likely will be unhappy about it...
