A US judge has ordered software giant Microsoft to include Sun Microsystem''s Java programming language in its widely-used Windows operating system.
Is it just me or does this sound ridiculous? Windows belongs to Microsoft, why the hell should they have to put Sun''s shit in it? Does this mean Windows could be forced to include all sorts of programming language runtime libraries, compilers, interpreters etc. such as Python, PHP, Perl and so on?

Why?

Maybe because Microsoft is going 'out of its way' to make its operating systems less compatible with Java?

Now they not only have to make it work with their operating system, they have to outright include it... ROFLMAO!

I support this decision. And, yes, if Microsoft starts changing their operating system to just break third party technologies like the ones you mentioned, then hell yes, make Microsoft change and have to include those technologies as well.

Maybe one day MS will learn to stop trying to bully other companies out of the PC market. Until they do the only people this kind of business practice is hurting is consumers.
