Hi! Since the search function is still disabled this might be asked before. What does "rhw" for the vertext format(or w which seems to be 1/rhw) stand for? I found out that it is used only for transformed vertices, but for what? Thanks The Wild Wild West - Desperado!

It stands for something I can''t be sure of. But what it means is that World/View/Projection matrices will not be applied to it. I believe r stands for rasterization, because on the screen the coordinates will be 0, 0 on the top-left corner, and going up toward the lower-right corner. (I think its from 0-1). Anyway this is useful for drawing GUI, and 2D things.

So you''d create a VB with triangles where the z-coordinate would not mean anything/wouldn''t be used.

Reciprocal of Homogeneous W. (yes, the w in rhw stands for W - as in the W-axis [projection space]). The rhw locates the object in projection space.
