I know how to create a bitmap and load it into the screen using ortho mode, but I want to create one the show during the loading process, and then switch to the game... How is this possible?

Start program in ortho, load bitmap, draw bitmap, load game, switch off ortho, stop drawing bitmap, enter gameloop.
