I am so bored today... I''m working doing computer support at a factory where almost no one is working. The entire factory floor is shut down today, I''ve seen three office people at their desk (normally about 200 people working in the office). And I have to ask, why am I here? I just don''t understand the logic behind this...

AP, what do you do if a boss walks by and sees your laptop and what you''re doing on it? Do you just make sure theres nothing interesting on its screen and play it off cool if a boss stops by? Or do they not even care either?

Where I work, even if there''s absolutely nothing to do, my fellow employee (read: micromanager), usually suggests that I vaccum. (Probably spelled incorrectly.). If no customers come for a long while, and there''s still nothing productive left to do, he starts commenting on how the floor could use "a more thorough vaccum". If after a "more thorough vaccum", theres still nothing productive to do, it''s glass cleaning time. Even if the glass isn''t dirty.
