Since I have no time to dig up old threads, I''ll just start a new thread. How do Quantumn computers work? So far, I''ve only been able to amass three useful pices of information: 1. Superposition (Got it) 2. The infomation stored by qubits = 2^qubits (Or something like that) 3. Entanglement so that you don''t screw around with the original particle. Now, my question is, how do you know that the qubit would give you the right information? Could someone provide my with Shore''s Algorithm to help? And, how does it all fit together? How would it be programmed, and how would it just basically work?

I always hit a problem with quantum computers. It just seems impossible to actually track all of that data. I mean, the more I think about it, the more I realize that we would actually have to completely redesign the structure of the computer itself.
