hi, My hard drive is giving me problems, it keeps filling up more and more everyday, and when I delete something, it doesn''t restore all the memory, I''ve defragmented many times and it doesn''t work, a month ago I had 6 GB on it, and now I have 10 GB I''ve been taking all this stuff off but it doesn''t seem to be doing much, I think it might have something to do with the cluster size but i''m not sure... Help would be much appreciated... DirectXFreak

Using Windows? Windows has a bad eating habit. It constantly eats bytes. Or..maybe those temporary internet files?

Flamewars don''t make you look smart, but idiot.

now you triple postet

defragmenting won''t help it doesnt give you more free space but only bigger chunks of free space...

look for the files that are added and/or increase in length. maybe you should delete all the temporary files or the trash box (trash box = evil invention of M$)

You can easily delete it. Just edit the other post, and check the box that says "Did you double post" and click make modifications. So easy to use, no wonder it''s #1.

PS: in the trash box properties there''s an option to delete files immediately bypassing the trash box. if you haven''t enabled this option you can also bypass the trash box by pressing shift+DEL -> files will be deleted immediately

Or just wait for a passing mod to remove it...
