I am reading through TOTWGPG by Andre LaMothe and in one chapter about resources he uses the Windows function PlaySound() to play .wav files. I am using the DevCpp compiler but it doesn''t compile when I use PlaySound(). All it says is: [Linker error] undefined reference to `PlaySoundA@12'' Whats with this? Do I have to add another library to my project? I''m pretty sure the problem isn''t with my code as not even LaMothe''s code compiles.. Please help!

I looked in my compilers directory for those libs but they both aren''t there

I have MSVC++ (i prefer using dev!), and found Winmm.lib and linked to it, but all is says is ''Permission denied''.

Please Help!
