I don't know if this question belongs in another forum, but here goes...
I set up a webserver on my homebox (using Xitami), and I do my more creative piddly stuff remotely (3D graphics and C++). The remote machine I am on uses a firewall and forbids FTP.
How would I set up a web-page based uploader, like you see on some of the freebie sites? I prefer to upload images/code/etc that way. Would it be java/javascript, can IE handle it alone, does it need PHP/ASP/PERL?
My current homepage btw is:
http://www.dreamwater.org/3dwannabe/
consists of 3d works of my so-so art. I want to put that to my home machine and bypass banner ads, but be able to use an html-based uploader to upload .jpg, .bmp, .htm, or whatever.
Any help is greatly appreciated
I fseek, therefore I fam.
