hi there, i cant use the search function, so ill just ask. BF culling gives me a lot of trouble in d3d. if i disable it, every mesh i draw is distorted. it looks scaled and rotated, wierd. and if i set it to CCW the meshes are ok, but vertexbuffers i create my self, using strips arent drawn correctly. i perfer to disable it for now, but it only makes it worse. any advice?

It seems like your vertexbuffers have triangles in CW orientation, I think that you should change them to CCW and everything should be right.

Do you have your Z-Buffer enabled ?
how do you create the meshes and the normals ? maye you have normals for CW and some for CCW ? did you normalize your normals ?
when you disable culling everything is ok ? if so you should check your normals.

No, disabling it causes it to look rotated. the meshes are created using d3dx functions, and with CCW they are fine. but i want to disable it, and it looks wrong. i havnt touch the z buffer, and i suppose it is enabled by default.
