hello, I know this has nothing to do with game development but I am in the habbit of coming here to ask anything i think of. anyways I have pacbell dsl and am wondering when networking in windows 98 it asks for a host name in the tcp/ip settings. All my other computers are running win2k so im not used to having to set this... what goes in the host name box? thanks

These sites might interest you, but if you're actually concerned just ask your ISP, they generally know what they are doing.

EDIT: It appears it does not matter what is in the host name box, but it might depend on your ISP.
