I have been working with another programmer on a small shootemup based on 1945 (if you ever played it). However due to other commitments, I have been left alone. So far we have the basic graphics system and animation system implemented for the player, so the project is in its early stages. What I now require is for another programmer to join me on taking this game through to its completion.
This role is a non paying role, as the game is an experience project. You should be in the UK and able to dedicate at least 2-3 hours per night, preferably later on in the evening. I have little experience of implementing input systems, so if you can implement directinput into the project then fantastic! The project is using DirectDraw7, so this isn''t a fancy project and would suit intermediate programmers like myself who still have a lot to learn and have never totally completed one project (I know I am not alone on this one). I would hope you are happy with working with classes..
