My help files are corrupted and every time I try to use help is says MSDN could not be found, reinstall MSDN. Well, my CD won''t install them, does anyone know where I can download the help files or that can e-mail them to me (if they aren''t too big)?

Hi danger_boy_13,
It is very unlikely that your MSDN files are corrupt, more likely that the registry entry that identifies the MSDN installation to Visual Studio has been lost. While there are ways to recreate this entry, they are simply too complicated and too time consuming to be worth the effort.
Since MSDN ships on 3 CD''s, the simplest thing for you to do will be to find someone you can borrow the CD''s from. Or, work with the online version of the MSDN(see niyaw''s post above). If that is not possible, here are some ideas :
The first thing you should do is check out whether the help files are still on your computer or not. If you had an old version of MSDN installed, there should be a directory containing MB''s of CHM files. Newer MSDN has help files with the extension HxS. So, searching for these extensions should get you the directory.
You can open chm files by clicking on them, but for the HxS files, you need a viewer. You should be able to find the MSDN viewer dexplore.exe on your machine, or you can download FAR (http://helpware.net/FAR/index.html)

If you dont have the files installed on your computer, you can download the help for the various SDK''s from Microsofts Platform SDK site(http://www.microsoft.com/msdownload/platformsdk/sdkupdate/)

Hope this helps.
