My main program is just a dialog box. It will a couple of different dialogs itself, and I have made the first one as the parent of the new ones. The problem is these new dialogs seem to call WM_DESTORY or WM_CLOSE when they are created. I have EndDlg() in the WM_DESTORY message so the window never shows up. If I take it out the window shows up fine but pressing the buttons doesn''t make it close like if was the only dialog and no WM_COMMAND messages were intercepted.

Make sure you put breaks after each case WM_MESSAGE

so it should be like this

switch(msg){

case WM_MESSAGE:
//code in here
break; // you need this

case WM...
break;
}

:D

Well I was just using return TRUE, but using break does the same thing.
