Sometimes when I use breakpoints I get a "User breakpoint called from code a XXXX" message... and then instead of seeing the code in C++ I see the assembly version. It only happens in some parts of my code. Does anyone know why this happens? I'm debugging my app with Visual C++ 6 /lazy [edited by - lazy303 on February 26, 2003 5:11:20 AM]

Visual studio will only take you to the source if it
a) can find the source code
b) has debug info generated to map the resultant executable to lines of code.

Lots of libraries dont have source, so most functions external to your project will take you to assembler. As the previous poster mentioned, drop down your callstack listbox, and further up the chain you should find a function of yours with source.
