What is the difference between DrawPrimitiveUP and DrawPrimitive. And How to draw cursor on the screen using D3D techniques.

DrawPrimitiveUP renders primitives based on the data that the array that you pass to the function contains .
DrawPrimitive Will use the data from the current stream to render primitives . You can create a "hardware accelerated" cursor using 2 transparent triangles that form a Quad .
Thank you all :)

DrawPrimitiveUP uses an internal vertex buffer to store your input array data, i.e. It copies your vertices into a vertex buffer and uses that for rendering. It''s generally slower than DrawPrimitive, and it''s only used for testing and simplistic stuff.
