heightmap -> lightmap

Are there any tools or methods around to create a terrain lightmap from a heightmap. I''ve created my own little tool, but this doesn''t take into account the slope of the terrain, so it''s pretty shitty. Does anyone have a tool (or code) for this? Thanks, Edo
