On my site (link in the Sig) I have added a link to download the demo/prototype of my game project. I''d to get some comments on the progress of it.. the game is written in DirectDraw so it will only work on windows.. Let me know what FPS you get and if you have any problems let me know.. I tested it on one computer and got that too, that green is supposed to be the transparent color, I''m guessing that for some reason its not matching the RGB value and the color on the bitmap..

Another thing that I''ve seen is if I move the mouse out of the area that the window covers the game will mess up on some machines.. and when the mouse is within the window on these machines the image of the mouse flickers on and off..

I''m just learning directX so I''m really not sure why these things would be happenning, has anyone incountered these problems before?

Random guess: the voodoo3 can only handle 16bit textures, so they''re getting converted before use, so now your colour key RGB value for the transparent colour no longer matches the green in the texture...

looking good!

Playing very smooth on my 700 Celeron II + TNT 2
stable 150 fps.

Minor annoyance, corridors and openings were a little too tight, I''d like it to be easier to walk through.

401 FPS on average. 2.4 GHZ, Radeon 8500.

A bug that sometimes occurs: the character will take on a mind of its own and will keep trying to move down until it hits a wall, at which point I''m able to re-gain control of the character.

One thing happened to me. When I go to exit and I hit no, another quit message pops up.

I have fixed this problem and a problem where the game would take as much of the CPU as possible even when in an inactive state..
