I have recently started getting these popups on my screen, titled "Messenger Service" (I think), with the general spam stuff. I figure it is just another way for people to spam. Anyway, it''s annoying, and I want it to stop. I''m tired of it interupting my gaming, and having to explain to my mom or girlfriend that I have no idea where this window advertising penile enlargement came from. It''s not a website popup, because I don''t have any webpages open when it happens. I suspect that it is some kind of messaging program built into windows, and that I''m getting messages from someone on my network (I''m on a cable modem). I have a firewall installed, and it doesn''t have anything that indicates that it would allow "messenger service" to access the internet. Any help in ridding myself of this annoyance in the future would be greatly appreciated.
