Thanks for posting, I hadn't of heard the demo untill I read your post, downloading now. I just hope this will be one over-hyped game that isn't dissapointing, recently finished Unreal2, and it was extremely far below my worst expectations. It seems the last few years that marketing for large games has been 98% focused on graphics, and sadly, so has the developers. I mean, the story in U2 was ridiculous, even with a few things being direct copies from the first game. Sorry, I needed to vent some, I'm done now

I played the demo. Wasn''t that fussed on it. Mouse control just feels wrong.
I played the demo, the story mission was great (although very easy) and being able to fly anywhere you want to go is great. I hate that the non-story missions. They''re are all pretty much the same. Fly out to some location, destroy enemy ships, done. More variety would be nice. Also your allowed to buy a transport ship, but there are no real jobs to carry cargo, you have to buy and sell the stuff your self.

I thought the controls felt really intuitive. Sure, there''s no joystick, but the game needs more than that. It would be damn hard to control your turrets and fly around at the same time.
