Does this school have a good computer Science program...its currently offering: - C++ programming including classes, inheritance, polymorphism, pointers, dynamic memory allocation, OOP, and basic data structures. - Networking(covers Network administration & socket programing) - Artificial Intelligence - Discrete mathematics (and a lot of other math classes) - Java - Web Architecture/Development - Project Management - Databases - ORACLE - Computer Organization and OS(Thread programing) - Software Engineering - Algorithms and Data Structures - VB(if desired...I think not tho) There are some MIS classes I could take too if I wanted

is this school a college or a web school? it's kind of hard to evaluate "good", that's a pretty relative term. if you want to get a sense of "great" take a look at the MIT course catalog and see all the courses they offer. obvioulsy that's the best and few other places even come close to matching it, but it makes a nice point of comparison if you are trying to decide if a given school has a good program. generally, i wouldn't consider it to be a good program unless it offers at least 20-30 different classes including classes on compilers, graphics, hardware chip design, and several classes on data structures.

the MIT engineering and CS classes listng can be found at:

VB(if desired...I think not though)

Why not?

VB is actually a very useful tool. Don''t knock it until you understand it

VB is a performance knightmare. Make no mistakes. BUT - it IS a very usful prototyping tool.

All languages offer something - usually functionality rather than performance. That''s fine, if you wan''t to try something out.

I''ve yet to see a faster way of testing my algorythms!

Looks like a pretty good range. I''m somewhat confused by Oracle, tho... it''s more of an IT class. Also, compiler design, computer graphics, and digital signal processing are useful classes that seem to be missing.

But... but that''s what HITLER would say!!

The reason Im posting the school is because I have a 100% paid schollarship to go there. Anywhere else Im faced to pay tuition. Im wondering if I should:
a) get my BS there and get a M.S. else where
b) get my BS there and try to get credits from another school offering more
c) go there 2 years or so and transfer else where

100% paid is nice though.

I would say go there for 2 years then go elsewhere to finish off.

It looks a lot like the courses offered by my rathole of a University, but I am unable to transfer out, unless I want to lose a semester''s worth of work.
