I have written a game. It''s not so big. It runs in window mode and with DDraw. Now i started the task-manager and the process of my games need 100% CPU-Time. You control everything fine in windows but it makes me angry cause other applications need only 3% CPU Time. My game runs the main in loop like usual. Can u tell me some tricks how to get the processtime down? Thanks.

i draw in the loop.

Drawing in a loop means taking all cpu power. If you want to cut down on the cpu usage you'll have to draw only when needed. But even then when there is alot of action going on you'll still get 100% usage unless you comprimise your framerate which is not recommended.
