I want to name my website, but I don''t have any good ideas. Anyone have any good ideas? I was thinking of something like Helix Studios, but a Google search found that it was a company (albeit a small one), but surprisingly it''s based a few blocks away from where I live! Weird, eh? But do you think a web designer would even care about someone''s stupid homepage he''s never even heard of? Has name stuff ever happened to you? Any good ideas for names? Thanks.

Hey, I''m beginning to like Sneftel. But anyways, my site would just be your general programmer''s site. It would have my projects and portfolio, and I am working on a set of tutorials for DirectX 9, and I am looking into some other things. I''m sorry I don''t have a prototype up yet.

No. I think it far more likely that it is a place that you pass requently and the name has become lodged in your head either subconsciously or otherwise. Next thing you know the logo you design for the site will be identical as well.

Actually, Helix is the open source version of the RealNetwork engine. It also used to be the name of Ximian, the gnome desktop project.
