Okay, so I''ve noticed that there are a few canadians who hang around these forums. So I gotta ask you guys: What''s up with poutine? is it yummy? is it kinda like chili cheese fries? is it worth making? how do I make it? and where the heck do I get cheese curds?

Poutine is awesome, but only when made correctly. Nothing like chili cheese fries at all.

You need to have the right type of gravy, though; and cheese curds from Quebec.

It''s also pronounced "Poot-sin".

Come to Quebec and you will have all the poutine you want.

Its pretty easy to make a regular poutine. Take some french fries, pour some gravy on top, and sprinkle some curds on top. That''s all. Swap out the grazy for spagetti sauce and you get an italian poutine. I like chopped and fried sausage on mine.

You can probably find curds at your grocery store. Ask someone where it is.
