Well, my main question is: ''is it possible to initalize Java3D to run in a JInternalFrame window?'' I''ve only seen it initalized in Applet classes, and dont know if im wasting my time trying toget it to work. Thanks.

You can put it in a JFrame, so you should be able to put it in an JInternalFrame.

EDIT:
Sorry, I was wrong. Looks like you put it in an Applet or MainFrame or JMainFrame. The last 2 are provided with Java3D API.

First make it work,
then make it fast.
