Howdy, I am helping someone set up their computer, and I was just wondering if the default BIOS settings are good enough when it comes to speed. I thought I heard somewhere that if you want to play games, you should change a few things. Is anyone familiar with this? Thanks in advance!

dont fool around with the bios to much, unless u intend to overclock u''r computer.. this especially applies to the memory settings, just leave it on automatic...

changing the bios settings can give a slight gain in performance, however if can also increase the number of memory errors that come up... personally i can''t change the ram settings, sense it causes my computer to crash then ever it runs into heavy applications such as kazaa.
Maaaaaaaahahaha. Who''s da king baby?
