Hi all, In many websites I have found information, resources and code snippets, but always as small bits and parts. I have never found a website talking about a full engine design and programming. So, I was considering writing a series of articles about it. I was planning covering the implementation of a game engine from ground up. From device startup to resource loading to memory structures. The series will cover my 2D engine architecture (KEngine found at www.spritekin.com/kengine/kengine.htm) but with a new 3D approach. The engine is DirectX/C++ based. All the code will become opensource. What do you say? Interesed? Luck! Guimo

Sure!

Just make sure you focus more on the design than the API (learning the API is relatively very easy, compared to putting things together).

Cheers,
