Spin control prob

I''m having trouble adding a spin control in MSVC.net to my dialogbox. When I run the program the dialogbox returns error code 1400 (invalid window handle or something). If I delete the spin control the dialogbox runs fine. I''ve read that I should add the spin control right after the "buddy" in the tab order and set "auto buddy" to true in the spin properties window but this does not help. Any help appreciated. -----------------------------
