Ok here we go, I have wrote a similar application to notepad and was wondering if anyone knew how to get the line number that the caret is blinking on? So i can display it to the user. Or even a goto line number box like notepad does already. I think i i need to use EM_GETSEL or something like that but i can''t get anything to work! Help!

Try EM_LINEFROMCHAR, not sure if it''s the right one though.
