I''m having problems getting the XP visual styles to work in an app i''m working on.
I''ve got the basic visual styles thing with the manifest and so on, the problem is with the controls on the window. While any dialogs I create in the resource editor look exactly how they should, any controls I add programmatically come out looking wrong: they have a nasty grey background which stands out against the pale window. This is most obvious on static controls and slider bars, although the drop down part of combo boxes looks wrong as well.
I''ve mucked around with functions like DrawThemeBackground and SetBkMode and other similar functions, and I''ve been scouring the MSDN for ideas, but I can''t for the life of me figure out how to get rid of this grey background. Has anyone experienced anything like this?
