Last month I noticed that Windows'' clock in the corner was a few minutes behind my alarm clock. I sync''d them and after a week or two, they were a few minutes apart again. So I did a more "scientific" test. 12 days ago I sync''d them, and right now the system time is 9 minutes behind my alarm clock. Doing the math, 12 days is 17280 minutes, but my system clock has only gone through 17271 minutes. So it''s running at 99.9479166667 percent of "real time". It drops 1 minute every 1919 minutes. Will it just get slower and slower, and is there anything I can do about it? Oh, and I re-sync''d them just now. Will post again in 2 weeks time (or is that 2.001 weeks? )

I had the same problem and found it was Norton Anti virus. I deinstalled it and run anti virus from housecall.antivirus.com

I was losing half an hour every day though.
