I''m pretty much guaranteed myself to take a CS course, and I''m very excited of the idea. I was wondering, what are good things to look for when looking into a University that offers CS courses..? I looked into a few Uni''s nearby, such as St. FX, Mount A., and a few others. I really like St FX''s courses, they focus a lot on C at first, then introducing C++ - concentrating on OOP, then they have lots of data structures, and algorithm coverage, then there''s a course on operating systems using UNIX (very cool), and of course you are required to take certain math courses in conjunction with the CS courses. I was wondering, is this a good Uni for CS courses? I mean, they cover more than I mentioned, but...? Or does anyone know of any other Uni''s in Canada that offer good CS courses..?

They''re pretty much all the same. This may shock and discredit you, but Computer Scientists aren''t all about what language they implement stuff in. It shouldn''t matter.

Oh I know, and they show many languages in the course, and most of it isn''t based on a particular language.
