Is it possible to set up a resource file, such as below, and use within a win32 client window? Or does it need to be on a dialog, seeing how it is defined as a dialog? Should I make the dialog as large as the client and do all the work from there, isn''t tha t kind of limiting? Isn''t there more flexibility drawing on the client itself? In that case, is CreateWindowEx(.."button"..) the preferred method in the WM_CREATE section of the callback function? aaahhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhh!!!!!

IDD_CLIENT DIALOG DISCARDABLE 1, 15, 600, 400
STYLE DS_MODALFRAME | WS_POPUP | WS_VISIBLE | WS_CAPTION | WS_SYSMENU
CAPTION "TESTING..."
FONT 8, "MS Sans Serif"
BEGIN
    PUSHBUTTON "Push", IDOK, 1, 4, 32, 32
    PUSHBUTTON "Push", IDCANCEL, 34, 4, 32, 32
    PUSHBUTTON "Push", 0x0067, 1, 38, 32, 32
    PUSHBUTTON "Push", 0x0068, 34, 38, 33, 32
    GROUPBOX "", 0x006B, 71, 0, 256, 256
END

In other words, if it is a simple win32 app with normal windowproc callback, can I LoadResource somehow or do I need to use the CreateWindow(.."edit"..) in the WM_CREATE switch/case section of the callback?
