I know that this has already been answered in quite a few posts before, but none of those answers really address the problem I am having. I am wondering if there is a way, without using darn MFC, to use multiple viewports. I need it to render the same object in four seperate windows each with different views and rendering states (wireframe, solid, etc.). I need a tutorial or something, that will show how this is done. I have googled this and searched all of the other gamedev sites that I know of. Thanks in advance.

Wouldn''t it also be possible to use a few different viewports? This way you wouldn''t need to share resources across rendering contexts.

Set the first viewport and render the object with the necessary render states and camera position. Set the next viewport and do so again, and so on.
