I know my share of DSP so I know pattern recognition isn''t something one would do for fun (unless that someone considers pattern recognition fun). I''d like to know if there are any free libraries available that do stuff like that. The thing is - I''ve never done this myself and it isn''t really my "thing" anyway, but a friend of mine called me the other day (apparently out of desperation/lack of people to turn to) and said he''d pay me for writing somekind of software that deals with stuff like that. At this point I am very wary of taking the job... Does anyone have any experience in this?
