Hi, I have a problem with data broadcasting: What I need is to have a server and a clent. The server lies on the remote pc, while the client is installed on my one. Using the client, I will be able to control the remote system, but for the connection I need its ip address. How to get it? I tried to broadcast it on a defined port, and if the clent is listening, it could do the job. But this runs only on lan (at least on my two pc''s) and when I try to send the ip trought internet, the client does not receive the packet. Any suggest?
