It doesnt really matter what OS/API/Browser/language/IDE you use , its just a tool. As long as it helps you achieve you goals thats all that matters. Im tired of these pointless threads because I have seen them too many times, they accomplish nothing. I have released 500+ games and applications as freeware/shareware over a 15 year period to different magazines,sites ,schools in 7 countries on 23 platforms ( ZX spectrum,BBC micro, Commodore 64 , Atari st , Amiga , Archimedes, PC running dos/win 3.1/95/98/2000/me/xp/linux/*bsd/beos, ( never on a mac though) ).
Maybe thats why those OS/API/Browser/language/IDE fanatics just seem like idiots to me. If they were cooks they would sound like:-
CooKIam - d00dz plastic spoons r0x0r.
AlaSpice - if you leave your sp00n on the stove it can melt andstart a fire its not secure, I use metal sp00ns no fire risks.
Gourmet - But d00d a metal sp00n can burn you. IT scratches the pot if you are using non stick pans just get a wooden sp00n it doesnt catch fire easy and it doesnt scratch pans
AlaSpice - You still use non stick pans , they are a health risk dont you know.Use the spray.
l33tc00k r- j00 n00bs dont know what j00 are talking about spray spoils the taste. l33t c00ks0r uses open flame that way if j00 are lost in the w00d5 you have enough experience to cook gourmet s**t.
NukeIt - I just moved out of my moms house , I didnt know a lot about cooking. I just learnt to go to the frozen food section and buy Microwave diners I cant figure out why anyone would want to spend a lot of time buying everything and then cook it when you can get A microwave diner and have a complete meal in 3 minute. Besides most apartments come with microwaves preinstalled.
AlaSpice - Humans have have a right to cook what they want. If you cook from a recipe you have the freedom to change what you want , to leave out stuff and claim it as your own. There is no evil cooperation just making food and telling you its good for you. Microwave Diner$ suck. The company that makes them actually monitor which diner$ people prefer. YOu dont want some faceless company figuring what you want to eat. Besides diner$
are more expensive than the sum of their ingredients. You can actually even grow you own stuff and cook it for free or distribute or want ever you want because its free.
