I just visited the Argos website using Mozilla Firebird, only to recieve a message stating that the site ''cannot currently be viewed using Netscape 6 or other browsers with the same rendering engine''. I changed the user agent on my browser to Internet Explorer 6 and (shock horror!) found that it works perfectly. I hate shitheads. poppet dumass

yeah that''s really annoying, like they want me to restart to windows so i can use their sucky website. unless... i could try running iexplore with wine, it''s worth a try.

That''s lame. Being in Windows, I could check it out in IE as well only to see it is some dumb online store. So don''t buy shit from them. I wouldn''t, because I don''t use IE for online transactions.

There are sites that specifically don''t work with IE but work fine with other browsers. I only find it fair that IE works for once.
