My program runs smoothly for a few minutes then the Window just stops rendering. I know the program is still working perfectly in the background since my keyboard/mouse commands still generate game sounds. Also if I move the window that my program is being rendered in the animation starts up again for a few seconds then dies again. I suspect I am not clearing Open Gl''s memory properly since it runs well for a rather long time before rendering stops. I have enabled: GL_BLEND, GL_DEPTH_TEST, GL_LIGHTING, GL_LIGHT0, GL_CULL_FACE, GL_TEXTURE_2D My clear call looks like this: glClear( GL_COLOR_BUFFER_BIT | GL_DEPTH_BUFFER_BIT); Alternately Windows could be screwing up. I am using Visual C++ .NET on Windows 2000 to write my code.
Programming is like dancing through landmines:The programmer is the choreographer, the computer is the dancer and when an error occurs something blows up.
