Hi!
I want to do a triangle/cylinder intersection test. I''m not sure how to do it. I have this idea that if I first construct a vector from the center of the triangle to the center of the cylinder. Then project this vector on the plane that the cylinder stands on (always the xz-plane. Then, if I extrude the triangle in the direction of this triangle with a length equal to the radius. I belive I can do a ray/box (my extruded triangle) intersection test instead. Is this correct? Any better ideas?
