Any of you play golf? I''m starting to play again now that it''s spring, but I''m not that good at it. The good place about where I live (Milwaukee) is that it has a shitload of public golf courses. Today I played at a pretty tame 9 hole course and it cost me like $8.50. Not bad for golf. I''ve heard that some country clubs can be like 20k a year. Damn, that''s like buying a nice Porsche 911 every three to four years.

I can play golf and I have the equipment, but I don''t play very much. Last summer I probably didn''t play at all, but the summer before that I did. This summer I''d like to play some more. I kind of know the right way to hit the ball, but I''m inconsistent with my swings. Usually the ball ends up too far right of where I was aiming. I get one to three strokes above par on each hole.

$8.50 FOR A ROUND OF GOLF??? WHOA! Here in New Mexico, it''s like, 30 something.

Anyway, yeah, I love golf! I just got a new set of clubs a couple days ago, and man, they''re niiice! I shaved off 25 (count ''em) 25 strokes from my old ones! Then again....my old ones were waaay too short...anyway, I shot a 90, which is pretty good for an average golfer...

$8.50 is a pretty average price for 9 holes here in Utah. And I would love to shoot a 90 (assuming you mean a full 18 holes.) Heck, I''d love to do better than 120.

I''ve only played minigolf - real golf is like for rich people or something... Minigolf''s fun though.
