While running a program that uses OpenGL libraries i receive such an error: File fontanna.exe is connected with a missing export GLUT32.DLL:__GlutCreateWindowWithExit. (or something like this... I don''t exactly know what the info looks like because I translated it from my Polish windows version) What shall I do?I downloaded the glut32.dll file a few times and I still receive this error.... While compiling another program, compiler (I''m using VC++) finds errors in the gl.h file: c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\gl.h(1135) : error C2144: syntax error : missing '';'' before type ''void'' c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\gl.h(1135) : error C2501: ''WINGDIAPI'' : missing storage-class or type specifiers c:\program files\microsoft visual studio\vc98\include\gl.h(1135) : fatal error C1004: unexpected end of file found In another program i receive such errors: LIBCD.lib(crt0.obj) : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol _main Debug/x.exe : fatal error LNK1120: 1 unresolved externals Error executing link.exe. I would be very happy if you could help me ... Greetings May The Force Be With U!!!!!

Ok...
The problem with glut:
Seems like your glut32.dll doesn''t export a function which is in some lib file...

with gl.h:
Be sure you include widows.h before gl.h and check your .h files (if there is an error in a .h file which is included before an other file the compiler can cach the error in the second file )

The third error:
You are not exporting main (the entry point). Just write a main function...

Not sure but I guess winMain doesn''t work with glut.
You have to go for a standard console project and use main().
WinMain assumes you are going to use win32.

So, if you want to use glut, go to standard console based programming.
If you want to use win32, I guess you should get the rid of glut.

This in addition to any other problem you may have.

For GL.h, PM said the right thing.

If you have a consol project the compiler will search for the ''main'' function, not ''WinMain'' (probably ). So check what project type you have
